Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Workshop Mechanic Post Creator(the "Service"), provided by Orange Dog ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Workshop Mechanic Post Creator is an AI-powered social media content generation and publishing tool designed for automotive businesses (dealerships, workshops, detailers, and related operators). The Service generates captions and images and, with your authorisation, publishes them to Facebook Business Pages you connect.

2. Eligibility and Facebook Page Ownership

To use the publishing features of the Service, you must own or have administrator-level access to any Facebook Page you connect. You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights and permissions to connect each Page and to publish content to it.

3. Your Content and Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for any content you generate, edit, or publish using the Service, including content posted to your connected Facebook Pages. You must ensure that your use of the Service and any content you publish comply with all applicable laws and the policies of any platform you publish to, including Meta's Platform Policies, Community Standards, and Advertising Policies.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Publish unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or infringing content.
  • Impersonate any person or business you do not represent.
  • Violate Meta's Platform Policies or any third-party platform's terms.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.

5. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, Meta's Platform Policies, or applicable law, or if continued service poses risk to other users, our integrations, or the integrity of connected platforms.

6. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any Facebook policy violations, account restrictions, page bans, lost reach, or other consequences resulting from content you generate, edit, or publish using the Service. The Service is a tool; responsibility for what is published rests with you.

7. Service Availability — Beta

The Service is provided "as-is" and "as-available". During the current beta period, we make no uptime, availability, or performance guarantees. Features may change or be removed without notice.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party APIs and providers (including Meta/Facebook, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Supabase). We are not responsible for outages, changes, or actions taken by these third parties.

9. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you publish to your Pages. We retain ownership of the Service itself, including its software, design, and trademarks.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
